9mm x 3mm Butyl Lap Tape (Mastic Strip)
Create a reliable, weatherproof seal at sheet and flashing overlaps with our 9mm x 3mm butyl lap tape. This pressure-sensitive butyl mastic strip is the clean, easy alternative to wet sealants for side laps, end laps, and bedding joints on metal roofing and cladding.
Standard size for single-skin profiled sheets: 9mm wide x 3mm thick, typically supplied on a convenient roll for quick site application.

- Easy to apply straight from the roll with release liner
Apply to a clean, dry surface, press firmly, remove the liner, then close the lap. For best results use with correctly fixed TEK screws and, where needed, profiled foam fillers.

Installation Notes
Secure using 22mm stitcher screws (sold separately). Allow a minimum overlap between consecutive flashings as specified per product type.
A clear protective film is applied during manufacture — remove after installation or before prolonged exposure to sunlight or moisture.
Safety: Always wear appropriate protective clothing, footwear, and gloves when handling metal flashings and roofing products.
